Job summary

Tacten Industrial Inc is seeking experienced Journeyperson Electricians with IRATA rope access expertise to support our Shell Scotford site in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. This regular full-time role requires local presence and a focus on safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates have IRATA Level 1 or are willing to obtain, along with JM Electrician Certification and OSSA/CSTS credentials. You will perform setup, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and safe operation of industrial electrical

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintaining electrical systems where required.

Tacten is seeking experienced, energetic, and safety-focused Journeyperson Electricians with IRATA Rope Access certification to support our client site at Shell Scotford in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. This is an exciting opportunity to join Tacten's growing Rope Access division and work in a dynamic industrial environment.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Regular Full Time
• Site: Shell Scotford, Fort Saskatchewan, AB
• Rotation: 4/10's, Monday to Thursday
• Please note - candidates must be local to Edmonton or surrounding area.

• Set up and maintaining electrical systems where required
• Installing and connecting electrical components such as motors, transformers, control panels, and other equipment necessary for industrial operations
• Identify issues, replace faulty components, and to ensure that all machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• JM Electrician Certification
• IRATA Level 1 ticket required, or willingness to obtain
• CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO
• Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
• Exceptional safety and quality awareness
• Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
• Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
