Job summary

MSCP Heat Management Solutions is seeking a qualified Rope Access Electrician (Level 1, 2, or 3) on a local long-term project in Alberta. The role requires an Electrical Journeyman Certificate, IRATA rope access, and experience with heat tracing and electrical systems.

The position runs weekdays with standard hours and a comprehensive safety program. The company specializes in electrical engineering, heat tracing, and industrial rope access, offering in-house training and a full-service approach

Qualifications

• IRATA rope access certification required.
• Electrical Journeyman Certificate required.
• Experience with heat trace installations and commissioning preferred.
• CPR/First Aid/WHMIS/H2S Alive training desirable.
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, Isometrics, and electrical schematics.
• Install and remove heat trace in accordance with standards.
• Work with power and hand tools.
• Electrical installs, wiring and cable pulls.
• QA, testing and commissioning of electrical and heat trace components.
• Use of digital work packages and quality documents.
• Collaborate within the work group and communicate clearly.
• Adhere to safety requirements and LOTO policies.
• Participate in HSE programs and in-house training.

Rope Access Electrician (Level 1, 2, or 3)

We are looking for a qualified Journeyman Electrician with IRATA certification and experience in heat trace to join our team on a local long term project working 8.5 hours per day Monday to Friday (7:30am - 4:40pm).

The Company

Our services encompass electrical engineering, heat tracing, removable blanket insulation, custom electrical control panels assembly, and industrial rope access - all available in-house. Moreover, we supply all the materials required for the initial build, installation, repair and maintenance.

Role Responsibilities

• Read & interpret blueprints, Isometrics, and electrical schematics
• Install & remove heat trace in accordance with specified standards
• Working with power and hand tools
• Electrical installs, wiring and cable pulls.
• QA, testing and commissioning of electrical and heat trace components
• Use of digital Work packages and quality documents
• Participate collaboratively in work group.
• Use of good problem-solving critical thinking and communication skills
• Adherence with safety requirements and policies, LOTO etc.
• Active participation in HSE Program
• Ability to complete extensive in-house training program

Role Requirements

• CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), H2S Alive training
• Valid driver's license - Driving record check (abstract)
• High level Microsoft and computer skills required.
• Familiarity with Procore or digital construction management software considered an asset
• Knowledge with EHT control systems an asset.
