Job summary

Acuren is seeking CWB Level 1 and Level 2 Inspectors to support our Spring turnaround at client site CNRL in Fort McMurray, AB. Start date Sept 14, 2026. 12-hour shifts on a 6/1 rotation. FIFO from Edmonton or Calgary; camp accommodations provided.

IRATA certification is required. Observers will inspect piping and structures, read drawings, and review test/inspection reports. Knowledge of ASME and CSA codes is a plus.

Qualifications

• CWB Level 1 or 2 certification required.
• IRATA certification required or willingness to relocate.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3/ B31.1 / VIII.Div.1 / IX / CSA W47.1 and W59.3 is an asset.
• Knowledge of NDT methods (X-ray/ radiographic, MT, PT) is an asset.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe work in progress to ensure conformance with requirements.
• Inspect process piping, power piping and structures from material verification to commissioning.
• Review test and inspection reports and recommend acceptance or rejection.
• Review Work Scope Packages.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
