Sienna Senior Living in Mississauga, ON is seeking an IPAC Lead for a temporary 6-month assignment. You will lead infection prevention and control initiatives, guide regional IPAC practices across Ontario and BC, and support clinical teams in preventing outbreaks and maintaining resident safety.

The role requires CN Ontario BC registration, CIC or A-IPC certification (or willingness to obtain), and relevant geriatrics experience. A Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check are required.

Qualificações

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario or BC as applicable.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario and BC regulations and standards.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ geriatrics clinical experience.
• Completion of Basic Infection Prevention and Control Courses or willingness to obtain.
• CIC or A-IPC certification or willingness to obtain within a timeframe identified.
• All applicants must pass Vulnerable Sector Check (Ontario) and Criminal Records Check (BC).

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning, development, organization, implementation and evaluation of Sienna infection prevention and control program.
• Provide infection prevention and control guidance for Ontario and BC Regions.
• Support Ontario Region clinically in a similar capacity as Regional Wellness Partner when required.
• Proactively prevent infections and outbreaks through education and prevention strategies.
• Perform IPAC surveillance, data collection and analysis; implement best practices.
• Identify trends and manage investigations of infections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
