Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a Production Technician in Vancouver, BC. You will hands-on build IoT devices, follow assembly instructions, perform testing, and ship products to customers while maintaining high quality and organized lab standards.

The role requires strong documentation, detail orientation, and the ability to manage the hardware build-to-ship lifecycle with independent judgment. You’ll contribute to a clean, efficient hardware lab and precise recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hardware production experience required.
• Direct experience managing the full hardware build-to-ship lifecycle.
• Strong testing, QA, and reliability discipline.
• Independent judgment and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent documentation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build IoT devices including Smart Return Bins, Checkout Devices, Scan Stations.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions while maintaining quality and precision.
• Conduct functional and performance testing, document results, flag issues.
• Ship to quality standards, working independently within defined protocols.
• Maintain an organized and efficient hardware lab.
• Keep records of procurement, assembly, and testing activities.
