Job summary

Niricson Software Inc. in Victoria, BC is seeking a Hardware Production Specialist to assemble, test, configure and maintain sensor systems in a hands-on role that bridges hardware, production, and field operations.

You will translate engineering designs into reliably built products, work with Engineering and Data Collection teams, and help scale production through repeatable workflows and better processes.

Qualifications

• Technologist Diploma or equivalent in electronics, mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years in production, manufacturing or hardware integration.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electro‑mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Experience with ERP/PLM or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test sensor systems following engineering docs and specs.
• Configure and validate sensor systems prior to deployment.
• Troubleshoot electro‑mechanical assemblies and diagnose issues.
• Rework and repair non‑conforming products and prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate build, configuration and production records.
• Support procurement and inventory for sensor production.
• Package and ship sensor systems and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized production workspace in Victoria.
