Job summary

AGF Management Limited in Toronto is seeking an Investment Operations professional to join our team. You will complete daily trade settlements and reconciliations, and maintain settlement records across funds and institutional clients.

Collaborate with Front/Back-Office teams, manage FX and regulatory reporting, and support ad-hoc inquiries. The role requires 1–3 years in investments and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years’ experience in the investments industry.
• Trade settlement experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of institutional investment processes.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Works well independently and in a small team.
• MS Office proficiency; quick to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily trade settlements and reconciliations.
• Maintain settlement instruction records through SS&C and DTCC Alert.
• Liaise with internal/external partners to resolve settlement issues.
• Investigate and resolve daily failed trade reports.
• Input daily trades in order management system.
• Monitor corporate action records and ensure responses.
• Prepare reports for internal and external teams including proxies and trade summaries.
• Provide backup support across the team.
• Occasional evening, weekend and/or holiday coverage.
