Job summary

Beedie is offering a four‑month Investments internship in Eastern Canada, based in Toronto, from May 2027 to September 2027. You will support underwriting, due diligence, and asset management for Beedie’s industrial portfolio while gaining exposure to development, construction, and sales activities.

The role targets students in Business, Finance or Mathematics with strong Excel skills, and an interest in real estate finance.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance or Mathematics from a university or college.
Strong interest in real estate, corporate finance and related fields.

Responsibilities

Prepare financial analyses for real estate investments including cash flow modelling, IRRs, and sensitivities using Excel and Argus Enterprise.
Support Investments team through deal execution and due diligence.
Track and record potential acquisitions in the CRM; create new records for land, brokers and companies.
Gather market data to support underwriting assumptions and prepare memos and presentations for management.
Assist Asset Management in implementing asset-level strategies to maximize value and NOI.
Travel occasionally for asset and market activity and meetings.
Review site plans with Development and Sales teams to assess underwriting impacts.
