Job summary

QuadReal Property Group, based in Toronto, is seeking a Co-op/Intern in Investments to support the Development & Investment team. You will assist with underwriting, cashflow models, and portfolio reporting while engaging in learning opportunities across Speaker Series and case competitions.

You will work closely with investment professionals, compile financial analyses, and contribute to investment memorandums, research reports, and development updates to drive decision making.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an academic program in Real Estate, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics or Economics.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling data sets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to communicate results clearly.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word; Argus Enterprise a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools to support research and productivity is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Work with investment teams to prepare return calculations and analysis for potential transactions.
• Perform market research for investment opportunities and evaluate past performance.
• Track market data pertaining to real estate investments in the BC region.
• Assist in creating memorandums for acquisitions, development and dispositions.
• Assist in development updates and cashflow forecasts with budget inputs.
• Analyze and review quarterly reports and investment documents.
• Prepare internal portfolio performance reports for stakeholders including QuadReal's Board
