Role Overview: The Investment Specialist is responsible for processing investment transactions and trades accurately and in a timely manner.

What You Will Do

• Scrub received applications to ensure SLAs are met
• Communicate with advisors to gather missing information or signatures
• Enter applications into the WealthServ system
• Follow processes to reduce the need for Letters of Intent (LOIs)
• Email wire order confirmations for applications
• Complete transactions and trades in WealthServ
• Follow up on transfers and update data in WealthServ
• Respond to email inquiries and requests
• Work extensively with back-office systems, WealthServ, and insurance carrier websites
• Work with some autonomy on how and when to complete tasks
• Contribute directly to team performance
• Assist colleagues with information sharing as needed

What You Will Bring

• Knowledge of investment products
• At least 1 year of experience in insurance and financial services
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of WealthServ is an asset
• Post-secondary education or equivalent

The salary range is $44,700 - $67,000 annually, excluding variable compensation. Further details will be discussed if you proceed in the recruitment process.
