Role Overview

Seeking to find an investment professional that will play a critical role in the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of secondaries investments across LP-led transactions, GP-led transactions (including single-asset and multi-asset transactions), and portfolio financing structures. This is for an existing vacancy.

The ideal candidate will have an investment-oriented background with relevant experience in private markets, investment banking, and/or asset management, along with strong knowledge of the secondaries market. Existing relationships across the GP and LP community are a plus.

This individual will be an energetic, self-motivated, and team-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and is comfortable taking ownership across both investment execution and relationship development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the due diligence process supporting the validation of investment theses, identifying key transaction risks, merits, and considerations.
  • Oversee financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis prepared by junior team members.
  • Lead transaction execution in collaboration with legal, tax, and other internal teams, ensuring transaction documentation and structuring are consistent with the underlying investment thesis and business case.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities across LP-led, GP-led, and portfolio financing transactions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships across the North American private equity GP and LP community.
  • Support and enhance sourcing and outreach efforts by leveraging existing relationships and developing new relationships with GPs and LPs.
  • Increase awareness of the firm's investment strategy and build its profile within the secondaries market.
  • Work collaboratively with senior investment professionals and broader internal teams throughout the investment lifecycle.
