Job summary

Fiera Capital in Canada seeks an Investment Counsellor to deliver exceptional client experience for assigned clients and grow the business by attracting new relationships. You’ll collaborate with internal partners to design and recommend multi-asset strategies aligned with client goals.

You will report to the Head of Private Wealth Canada, cultivate strong client networks, and lead initiatives to expand revenue while upholding Fiera’s values and commitment to inclusive, ethical investing.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education; CFA and/or CIM designation.
• 10+ years Investment Counsellor experience with strong market prominence.
• Licensed with the respective provincial body.

What we are looking for:

The Investment Counsellor role is primarily focused on providing an exceptional client experience to their assigned clients at Fiera Capital and growing the business by attracting new clients. Strong client relationships will focus on understanding each client’s unique needs, collaborating internally to develop /recommend investment strategies designed to achieve client’s goals with Fiera’s customized multi-asset solutions across traditional and alternative asset classes. This role reports to the Head of Private Wealth Canada and Senior Investment Counsellor

Strong promoter of Fiera’s values and Private Wealth’s vision and strategy; Aligns to strategic objectives, rolls up sleeves to participate and lead projects; Collaborative team member and leader, actively participates in work of Fiera Private Wealth (i.e. creating marketing brochures, bring leads for national relationships) thereby fostering common objectives.

Must have requirements to be successful in this role:

Post-secondary education; Professional designation: Chartered Financial Analyst, and/or Chartered Investment Manager; 10 years + Investment Counsellor experience, strong marketplace prominence and strong performance are more critical than years of experience; Licensed with respective provincial body.
