Location Specifics: We are seeking individuals who reside in or around the Grande Prairie area. The successful incumbent will cover our Grande Prairie, Fairview, and Grimshaw locations.

Compensation: This position offers a guaranteed base salary with a variable pay bonus structure initially. The successful incumbent will transition to a commission-based structure after 7 months.

Investment and Planning Consultant (IPC)

As an IPC, you will have a dynamic presence in the branch environment, serving as the IPC for our Financial Advisors and members. Through Servus' Wealth Management Process, you will consolidate member assets, increase wallet share, and ensure member satisfaction. You will be a proactive leader in branches, fostering professional growth and a positive, productive environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Uncover members' full financial needs, provide solutions, and refer to Advisors as needed
• Support and facilitate the financial planning experience for members
• Proactively pursue business opportunities through retention, solicitation, marketing data analysis, and leveraging existing member relationships
• Develop and implement a sales plan targeting mid/high net worth members, internal referrals, and new business development
• Identify staff development opportunities and provide coaching and training
• Mentor team members to develop their skills
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks

Minimum qualifications include:

• At least 5 years of financial advisory sales experience, with thorough knowledge of financial planning, products, policies, procedures, and operations
• Post-secondary diploma/degree or equivalent experience
• Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) certification
• MFDA License
