Location Specifics: We are seeking individuals who reside in or around the Grande Prairie area. The successful incumbent will cover our Grande Prairie, Fairview, and Grimshaw locations.

Compensation: This position offers a guaranteed base salary with a variable pay bonus structure initially. The successful incumbent will transition to a commission-based structure after 7 months.

Investment and Planning Consultant (IPC)
As an IPC, you will have a dynamic presence in the branch environment. You will serve as the IPC for our current Financial Advisors and members. Through Servus' Wealth Management Process, you will consolidate member assets and increase wallet share while ensuring member satisfaction. You will be recognized as a leader in the branches by fostering an environment of professional growth and development in a positive, fun, and productive manner.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Uncover members' full financial needs, provide solutions, or refer them to the appropriate Advisor
• Support and facilitate the financial planning experience for members
• Proactively pursue external/internal business opportunities by retaining existing members and soliciting new business, reviewing marketing data for new market potential, and leveraging opportunities with existing members through in-branch and telephone communication
• Establish and implement a sales plan focused on retaining and attracting new members with mid/high net worth, developing internal referral sources, centers of influence, and improving profitability with existing members
• Identify staff development opportunities and provide effective coaching and technical training
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members for skill development
• Ensure adherence to all corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines, including compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks

To qualify, you'll need:

• At least 5 years of financial advisory sales experience and thorough knowledge of financial planning, products, policies, procedures, and operations
• A post-secondary diploma/degree or equivalent experience and education
• Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) certification
• MFDA License
