Vantage Elevation, LLC is North America’s leading independent manufacturer of elevator components and systems. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for executing and maintaining an accurate cycle count program to support inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Materials Manager, this role requires close coordination with production and materials teams to ensure timely cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement in inventory control processes. The Inventory Specialist will also support production control and contribute to process optimization efforts.

Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with:

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and demonstrated responsiveness to inquiries and requests.
  • Ability to identify potential problems, escalate, and assist in resolution as needed.
  • Promote collaboration and foster a positive team environment, effective communication, and efficient use of resources.
  • Self-starter that can execute given tasks in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, analyze, research, and communicate issues to appropriate business partners.

Duties and Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Work will be performed in both office and warehouse environments.
  • Exposure to warehouse conditions, including heavy forklift traffic.
  • Ability to lift and move parts up to 50 lbs. as required for cycle counts.
  • Maintain electronic filing system, customer correspondences, and distribute information.
  • Communicate order status to internal and external customers, both verbally and in writing.
  • Aid various company departments as to the status of current projects.
  • Enter change orders requests that require modification of company products and equipment.
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements and specifications.
  • Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
