Job summary

Give & Go Prepared Foods Corp. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to ensure accurate logistics duties and provide a supportive role within the Logistics department. You will work with team members and external suppliers to manage movement, inventory, and shipments.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to learn in-house systems in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Growth opportunities are highlighted within a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School diploma.
• Minimum 2 years related experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to quickly learn inhouse system
• Deadline oriented with an ability to work with a sense of urgency
• Basic knowledge of HACCP/GMP/Health & Safety requirements
• Ability to work in a team, and/or under minimal supervision
• Excellent organization skills, with an ability to work on multiple projects at a time
• Must be able to handle fast paced environment with competing priorities and demands
• Must have strong computer (MS Office) and project management skills
• Shows professionalism when answering inquiries via phone or email.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations by monitoring the movement and storage of products.
• Ensure all purchase orders are entered through various paths in a timely fashion and inform management of inventory issues.
• Make sure operating systems are updated and inventory is reconciled for month end.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with all levels of the organization and external suppliers.
• Regularly monitor inventory at offsite warehouses and update internal reports.
• Build outbound shipments for efficiency and monitor for shortages.
• Investigate overs, shorts, damaged items and customer charge backs.
• Trace and track finished goods transfers for accuracy and timely delivery.
• Verify outgoing shipments and schedule inbound/outbound deliveries.

Job Overview

Responsible for ensuring all logistics duties are carried out accurately, while providing a supportive role within the Logistics department regarding current Give & Go warehouse practices

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations by monitoring the movement and storage of products such as ensuring that all transportation functions are carried out accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure all purchase orders are entered through various paths in a timely fashion o Advise management of cycle count/inventory issues on a timely basis.
• Making sure our operating systems are updated and complete and inventory is reconciled for month end.
• Communicating and coordinating effectively with all levels of the organization and external suppliers, etc.
• Regularly monitor inventory at our offsite warehouses and updating our internal inventory reports as needed
• Building outbound shipments maximizing efficiency and monitor for potential shorts
• Ensuring that investigations into overs, shorts, damaged, and all customer charge backs are completed
• Trace and track Finished good transfers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
• Assist in logistic functions by verifying outgoing shipments, ensuring the accuracy of all logistics related documents, directing the scheduling of shipments, processing all relevant paperwork for procedures.
• Ensure all receiving and shipping paperwork is complete and accurate
• Schedule all inbound and outbound deliveries
