Job summary

Wolseley Canada is seeking a warehouse inventory specialist to support daily operations, analysis and data entry across our branch network.

You will prepare inventory reports, analyze stock levels and help develop inventory control processes, liaising with branches to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience is required.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; Excel, Word, Outlook; AS400 is a plus.
  • Self-starter who works well in a collaborative team.
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift operation certificate would be an asset.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

  • Process and distribute daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports.
  • Analyze inventory for the branch.
  • Develop processes and procedures for inventory control.
  • Liaise with branches to resolve problems and collect data.
  • Monitor non-listed inventory to ensure proper procedures.
  • Process vendor debits and customer credits.
  • Enter data into computerized system.
  • Perform other projects as required.

What you will do:

What you will bring:
  • Previous warehouse experience is required
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Applications, specifically intermediate Excel, Word and Outlook, previous experience on AS400 is an asset
  • Must be a self-starter with ability to work in a collaborative team based environment
  • Highly organized in prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and consistently meeting deadlines within a fast paced work environment
  • Possesses license(s) for the required material handling equipment (i.e. Forklift Operation Certificate) would be an asset.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs. or more. Must be able to lift, bend and crouch.
