Job summary

RONA seeks an Inventory Specialist to help drive accurate stock levels and insightful reporting across stores. You will generate reports, manage inventory data, and assist with price adjustments and form processing to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have strong data skills, are detail-oriented, and can work independently while collaborating with store teams to meet objectives and maintain excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong data accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze sales and inventory data.
• Proficient with business software and basic IT troubleshooting.
• Able to work independently and support the team when needed.

Responsibilities

• Generate and analyze reports such as sales margin analysis, PO activity, and checkout errors.
• Enter and update store inventory data and perform cycle counts.
• Conduct price override adjustments and file SIU forms as required.
• Troubleshoot IT issues affecting store operations.
• Support other tasks to ensure smooth store performance.

Your role:

• Generate and analyze various reports such as sales margin analysis, purchase order activity, and checkout error records
• Enter and adjust store use inventory, cycle counting batches, and other inventory-related data
• Conduct price override adjustments
• Collect, receive authorization, input, and file SIU forms
• Troubleshoot IT issues with store operations
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to maintain accurate data integrity
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and provide support to other team members
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Prior retail, warehouse receiving, and logistic experience an asset
