Job description

Nature's Touch is a global leader in the frozen fruits industry, supplying the retail and industrial sectors in North America, Australia, Taiwan, and Japan. We provide a full range of products and support multiple private-label programs in addition to our own brands. We are also one of the largest buyers of fruit globally each year, and continue to enjoy strong growth in this emerging category in retail.

The role :

Reporting to the Inventory Control Supervisor, the Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for collecting inventory data, identifying and analyzing discrepancies, developing and improving inventory control systems, maintaining detailed records of transactions, and verifying inventory counts from company warehouses and stockrooms.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all aspects of inventory including accuracy of inventory transfers, adjustments, receiving, production and cycle counting
  • Responsible for coordinating the physical inventory of the warehouse
  • Responsible for coordinating and performing the warehouse cycle counts as per the agreed upon frequency
  • Responsible for adhering to the inventory count policies and procedures established by the Inventory Control Supervisor and ensuring that all individuals participating in inventory count procedures understand and respect such policies and procedures
  • Compile results, update reports and measure the accuracy of physical inventories
  • Perform audits of recounts, analyze results, and make adjustments as necessary
  • Manage your time to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain / Logistics, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Finance and Accounts Payable)

Qualifications : Experience :

  • 2-3 years of experience in inventory control or similar experience in the field of manufacturing operations
  • Previous experience with warehouse management and ERP systems and processes is required.

Skills :

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Must be flexible and be able to work well under pressure of deadlines & changing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented and quick problem solver
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
