Inventory Control Analyst - Ville St. Laurent (office-first)

The Opportunity

We are looking for a detailed-oriented and organized inventory control analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Director, FP&A, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional departments to manage multiple inventories at units, costs, and retail and report to and advise company management on inventory status.

Your Daily Adventures

  • Manage and track all outbound shipments and in-transit inventory between locations, generating weekly reports and resolving exceptions with Logistics team
  • Monitor and process inventory adjustments across DC and stores, ensuring accurate cycle counts and proper adjustment codes
  • Oversee Omni-channel order fulfillment and shipment processes, coordinating with Store Operations for compliance and resolving exceptions
  • Lead physical inventory counts, including coordination with 3rd party providers and reconciliation across all systems
  • Analyze and report shrink results, partnering with Loss Prevention to establish and monitor targets
  • Maintain inventory integrity across all systems, implementing and improving control processes
  • Support RFID integration and month-end inventory procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Loss Prevention, Logistics, IT, and Accounting) to optimize inventory management
  • Drive process automation initiatives with IT and Data teams to improve efficiency and accuracy
Your Toolkit

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or Operations Management an asset
  • Minimum two (2) years of related experience
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Deposco, Fluent, and NetSuite is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including tables, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX & MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, duplicate detection, and data format conversions is required.
  • Power BI, Power Query, and SQL or other database knowledge is considered an asset.
  • Client-centered approach with excellent communication and analytical skills
