This is an initial 12-month contract with the potential to extend or convert. Onsite at their location in Edmonton, Alberta.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define and update supply and stock management parameters, including ramp-up and ramp-down strategies, to achieve target service levels while reducing unhealthy stock and controlling costs/SIOP (Master Production Schedule).
- Ensure the quality and consistency of key data such as lead times, quantities, and stocking policies.
- Manage the continuous balance of needs and resources (e.g., MRP) for raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
- Manage customer needs through the Customer Claim Management Process as communicated by the Customer Care Centers (CCC).
- Oversee the replenishment backlog, including creation and rescheduling of manufacturing and purchase orders.
- Measure performance indicators like ISSR, S-OTD, and U-OTD (External Supplier Service Rate) and develop action plans accordingly.
- Manage backorder portfolios (BOL), address shortages, and take actions to ensure product availability.
- Define and manage supply and stock management parameters for raw materials and components according to the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer requirements while minimizing unhealthy stock levels.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain or procurement within manufacturing; able to start immediately and willing to grow with the company.
- Experience with Core ERP/SAP ECC or S/4HANA, and familiarity with AI or Power Apps.
- Previous relevant experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
