Job summary

Shell Canada in Calgary seeks an Inventory Optimization Advisor to drive inventory performance across the Mobility network. You will lead analytics, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives to deliver actionable insights and data-driven decisions.

The role requires 4+ years in data analytics, advanced SQL, Power BI, and experience with Power Apps/Automate. You will partner with IT and business teams to optimize operations and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or BI.
• Advanced SQL, Power BI and Excel skills required.
• Experience with Power Apps & Power Automate.
• Knowledge of data modeling and governance best practices.
• Background in inventory, retail, or supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable reporting and BI solutions.
• Translate business requirements into KPIs, dashboards, and insights.
• Develop SQL-based datasets and automated reporting processes.
• Build and support Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and reconciliation controls.
• Conduct trend analysis and root-cause investigations for decisions.
