Job summary

Medline Canada is seeking an Inventory Associate to join our Guelph team, responsible for cycle counts, stock management, and SAP-based transactions while maintaining inventory accuracy.

You will perform root cause analysis, reconcile discrepancies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure GMP-compliant operations. The 1-year contract offers a stable, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in inventory control or cycle counting preferred.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment with forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
• Perform root cause analysis and propose corrective actions for variances.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve inventory issues.
• Reconcile inventory records and rectify discrepancies between physical counts and system data.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and GMP procedures.
• Utilize SAP to perform inventory transactions (issuing, transferring, adjusting).
• Manage inventory by blocking and releasing stock for checks, damage, and recalls.
• Create approvals for inventory movements with proper authorization.
• Assist in improving inventory management processes and procedures.
• Adjust damaged and returned products and verify receipts against approvals.
• Complete all activities and documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following guidelines.
