UPS is seeking a warehouse package handler in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The role involves loading and unloading packages, scanning items, sorting by postal code, and placing packages in the correct areas within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The position requires ability to lift up to 70 lbs, read postal codes, and willingness to work flexible shifts (up to 5 days a week). Warehouse experience is preferred. Early Sunday or Monday-Thursday afternoon shifts are available.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for loading, unloading of trailers/package cars/pallets, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages into warehouse environment. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.
• Scan packages with attention to scanner codes to determine status of package.
• Sort packages per postal code.
• Determine status of package and move to proper areas.

Hours available

• Sunday 11am start (3-5 hours)
• Mon-Thursday 2pm start (3-5 hours)

Hourly Wages: Starting at $18.00/hourly
