Job summary

Niagara Catholic District School Board's International Education Division is seeking International Program Assistants for the Elementary/Secondary Integration & ESL Program in St. Catharines/Niagara Falls. You will help plan and supervise after-school and Saturday activities for international students enrolled in winter, spring, fall and summer programs.

The role offers flexible hours after 3:00 p.m. and on Saturdays, roughly 20–30 hours weekly during program dates.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary student or recent graduate in Education, Linguistics, TESL, Recreation, Physical Education, or related fields.
• Leadership skills and ability to relate well with 10 to 15 year old students are essential
• Energetic, fun to be around, artistic or athletic
• Prior camp experience, first aid training, and knowledge of a second language are assets

The Niagara Catholic District School Board's International Education Division is seeking International Program Assistants for the upcoming Elementary/Secondary Integration & ESL Program in St. Catharines/Niagara Falls.

Our International Program Assistants will assist in planning and supervising extra-curricular activities offered after school and on Saturdays for international students enrolled in the winter, spring, fall, as well as summer programs. Activities include day trips, cultural and recreational activities, sports, and more…

Programs dates:

• Various start and end times beginning from January 2027

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Post-secondary student or recent graduate in Education, Linguistics, TESL, Recreation, Physical Education, or other related fields
• Leadership skills and ability to relate well with 10 to 15 year old students are essential
• Must be energetic, fun to be around, artistic or athletic
• Prior camp experience, first aid training, and knowledge of a second language are assets

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Flexible hours after 3:00 p.m. (weekdays) and on Saturdays
• Approximately 20 to 30 hours per week (during program dates)
• Some full day weekday and evening activities are part of the schedule

Temporary Part-time (casual) position.

RATE OF PAY:

$20.00/hour
