Job summary

Laidlaw Carriers Van is hiring experienced Class 1/AZ highway owner-operators based in Halifax, NS. You will haul Dry Van freight across Canada and the United States with 24/7 operations and extended on-the-road periods.

We seek safety-conscious drivers with strong communication who can handle cross-border requirements and maintain logs and compliance while on the road.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ license or Class 1 is required.
• Minimum 2 years verified Canada/USA driving experience.
• Clean CVOR and Driver's Abstract.
• Clean criminal record; cross-border travel is required.
• Must be willing to travel into the United States regularly.
• Comfortable being on the road 7–10 consecutive days per week.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight between Canada and the U.S.
• Follow all safety, compliance, and cross-border regulations
• Complete dispatch-assigned work efficiently and professionally
• Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
