Job summary

Appletree Medical Group is actively seeking an International Medical Assistant (Pap Technician) to support pap tests across Toronto GTA clinics. The role requires IMGs pursuing licensure, medical degree completion, MCCQE Part I, and Canada eligibility.

You will work under physicians, conduct screenings, manage EMR data, and ensure patient care standards. Travel to clinics in North York, Downtown and Brampton is included; comprehensive benefits and training are provided to facilitate professional

Qualifications

• International Medical Graduate/Internationally Trained Physician.
• Medical degree completed.
• Successful completion of the MCCQE Part I.
• Permanent eligibility to work in Canada (Citizen or PR) or valid work permit >12 months.
• Typing speed of 40 wpm for data entry.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care protocols.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine pap smear exams and pap tests across multiple Toronto GTA clinics.
• Prepare supplies and explain procedures to patients.
• Perform the pap examination and cervical screening.
• Notify patients of updates and follow-ups.
• Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and inventory.
