Job summary

Health Match BC is seeking an Internal Medicine – Respirology specialist to join The Medical Clinic (Mission) for outpatient respiratory and internal medicine services across two established community clinics in Mission, BC.

The successful candidate will assess and manage a broad range of respiratory diseases, interpret tests, and coordinate care with family physicians and allied health professionals. Flexible scheduling and a supportive team are offered.

Qualifications

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic respiratory diseases, including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, sleep-related breathing disorders, chronic cough, pulmonary infections, and other respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic respiratory diseases.
• Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine consultations.
• Interpret pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic investigations as appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment and management plans using evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with family physicians, nurse practitioners, allied health professionals, and community specialists to coordinate patient care.
• Provide consultation reports and ongoing follow-up to referring physicians.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to high standards of patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
