Job summary

The Medical Clinic (Mission) in British Columbia seeks an Internal Medicine – Respirology specialist to join our growing multidisciplinary practice, providing outpatient respiratory and internal medicine services across two established community clinics.

You will assess and manage patients with a range of respiratory diseases, interpret pulmonary tests, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and collaborate with family physicians and allied health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic respiratory diseases, including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, sleep-related breathing disorders, chronic cough, pulmonary infections, and other respiratory conditions.
• Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine consultations.
• Interpret pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic investigations as appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment and management plans using evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with family physicians, nurse practitioners, allied health professionals, and community specialists to coordinate patient care.
• Provide consultation reports and ongoing follow-up to referring physicians.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to high standards of patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.

The Successful Candidate Will

Compensation

Compensation Type Fee-for-Service Estimated Remuneration $350,000–$700,000+, depending on clinical volume.
