Job summary

Entrust is seeking a Software Developer Intern to join the CIDV team in Ottawa on a hybrid basis for an 8-month term, starting January 4, 2027. Ideal candidates are 4th-year CS or Software Engineering students or 3rd-year with relevant experience, excited to contribute to backend services using .NET Core and C#.

You will collaborate with senior developers, review code, and explore AI-enabled features using GitHub Copilot and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program.
• 4th-year student preferred; 3rd-year students with relevant experience will be considered.
• Experience with React, .NET Core and C#.
• Experience with AI development concepts and frameworks.
• Knowledge of GitHub and version control best practices.
• Located in Ottawa and able to work hybrid.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and planning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain software applications.

We are seeking a motivated Software Developer Intern to join our team for an 8-month term. This is an excellent opportunity for a 4th-year Computer Science or Software Engineering student (or 3rd-year with relevant experience ) to gain hands-on experience in modern software development practices.

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $23 - $28 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on education, skills and experience.
