EQB Inc. is seeking an Intern – Retail Lending AI Engineer to support the design, development, testing and support of RESTful APIs, ETL integrations, and AI-enabled workflows within the Retail Lending Technology team.

The role emphasizes secure, scalable interoperability and microservice solutions for EQ Bank's digital capabilities. The internship runs January to April 2027, with hybrid work and in-office time at EQ Bank’s Toronto space.

Intern – Retail Lending AI Engineer

The Intern – Retail Lending AI Engineer supports the design, development, testing, and support of RESTful APIs, ETL integrations, Power Platform–based solutions, and emerging AI‑enabled capabilities within the Retail Lending Technology team. This includes supporting AI integrations, large language model (LLM)–powered workflows, intelligent agents, and automated business processes. The role contributes to the delivery of secure, scalable, and reusable interoperability and microservice solutions that support the bank’s digital payment capabilities.

The incumbent will be working hybrid and in office time will be spent working from EQ Bank’s additional office space located at 2200-25 Ontario Street, Toronto, ON.
