Job summary

Bombardier is offering an internship for an Intern, Project Engineering - Challenger (Winter 2027) in Saint-Laurent, QC. You will help create project plans, monitor schedules, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders within a hybrid setup.

Applicants are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Business Management, or Project Management, with strong MS Office skills and French/English proficiency.

Qualifications

• You are studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Project Management or closely related field (Required).
• High level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel Advanced preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, leadership & time-management skills.
• Able to express ideas clearly in writing and speaking.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Adaptable and able to take on evolving priorities.
• Creativity in developing methodologies to produce high-quality deliverables.
• Experience in Project Management, scheduling or budgeting is an asset.
• Experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry is an asset.
• Able to work independently with minimal guidelines.
• Excellent English & French communication skills (French an asset but not mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Create the project plan & schedule and participate in the development of the implementation plan.
• Support the Project Engineer to monitor project performance and other project tasks.
• Communicate with stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
• Prepare the business case (documents & budgets) in support of decision-making.
• Prepare and update project schedules, documentation, governance files and databases.
• Support the project team in meeting KPIs and stakeholder engagement.
• Identify risks and provide visibility on mitigation plans to reduce risks.
• Solve issues of varying complexity; handle non-standard tasks/queries.
• Approach problems from multiple angles and apply innovative solutions.
• Aircraft product development, project planning, conducting meetings and prioritizing.
• Written and spoken communications in a professional environment (presentations).
• Use MS Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, MS Word, Teams, Outlook, Power.BI, Lotus Notes, SAP, ADP Workforce & internal Bombardier software.

What are your contributions to the team?
