Job summary

Eddyfi Technologies invites an Intern, Legal Affairs & Innovation to join the Legal team during the Winter 2027 term. You will contribute to AI-powered platform integration, policy harmonization, and business‑critical legal operations in an international context.

You will help review contracts, harmonize policies with ESAB requirements, develop training materials, and support governance, compliance, and post‑acquisition initiatives with a focus on practical improvements to tools and processes.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Law, Business Law, Corporate Law, Governance or related field.
  • Interest in law, technology, AI, and innovation intersection.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to conduct research, synthesize information, and prepare clear documents.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in rollout and integration of AI platform for legal teams.
  • Contribute to use cases and best practices for AI in contract management.
  • Test and evaluate platform functionalities and prepare training materials.
  • Support governance, compliance, and data protection work.
  • Assist in review and drafting of commercial contracts and improve internal processes.
  • Contribute to post-acquisition integration projects.

Job description

The Intern, Legal Affairs and Innovation will support the Legal team in initiatives related to legal innovation, governance, compliance, and operational efficiency. During the Winter 2027 term, the intern will contribute to the integration of an AI-powered legal platform, assist with the review and harmonization of corporate policies following the ESAB integration, and support legal operations through research, contract review, and documentation management. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of law, technology, and business transformation. Rather than being limited to traditional legal research, the intern will actively contribute to projects that have a direct impact on the Legal team’s tools, processes, and compliance practices in an international environment.

As an Intern, Legal Affairs & Innovation, you must be able to:

Artificial Intelligence and Legal Innovation
  • Participate in the rollout and integration of Luminance, an artificial intelligence platform designed for legal teams;
  • Contribute to the development of use cases and best practices for the use of AI in contract management;
  • Test and evaluate the platform’s functionalities;
  • Prepare training materials and user guides;
  • Make recommendations to improve the efficiency of legal processes.
Governance and Compliance
  • Conduct an inventory and review of existing corporate policies;
  • Participate in the harmonization of Eddyfi’s policies with ESAB’s requirements and standards;
  • Identify gaps between current policies and new organizational requirements;
  • Prepare revised versions of policies and tracking tools;
  • Conduct ad hoc legal research on governance, compliance, data protection, and business ethics.
Legal Operations Support
  • Conduct legal research and support the review and drafting of commercial contracts;
  • Participate in the improvement of internal legal department processes;
  • Contribute to the organization and management of legal documentation;
  • Assist the team with various special projects related to post-acquisition integration.
