Job summary

Dream Unlimited is seeking an Intern in Corporate Accounting for an 8-month program starting January 2027 in Toronto. The role supports the Corporate Accounting team with close processes, reporting, and financial analysis, offering a hands-on learning experience within a dynamic real estate company.

The ideal candidate is an active Finance/Business/Accounting student, eager to learn and contribute, with strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a focus on Finance, Business, or Accounting and pursuing an accounting designation.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, proactive and able to contribute in meetings and team projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quarterly financial reporting deliverables such as financial statements, MD&A and investor presentations.
• Assist with month-end close tasks and transactional processing.
• Support budgets and financial analysis activities.
• Aid in daily accounting activities and process improvement initiatives.
• Support AI and automation initiatives within Corporate Accounting.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and process enhancements.

What will you do?

The successful candidate will provide a strong supporting function to the Corporate Accounting team. Below are some example of things you would be working on:

• Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely quarterly financial reporting deliverables like financial statements, MD&A and investor presentations;
• Leading the month-end closure;
• Assist in transactional processing and daily accounting activities;
• Assist with budgets and financial analysis;
• Support AI and automation initiatives; and
• Support the Corporate Accounting team in ad hoc and improvement projects.
