Job summary

Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 is accepting external applications for an Intermediate Teacher on a temporary, part-time basis (0.8748 FTE).

The position runs from September 8, 2026 to October 31, 2026 or until the incumbent returns. Successful applicants must hold or be eligible for a BC Teaching Certificate, have a university teaching major or equivalent, and possess experience teaching at the appropriate level.

Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 is now accepting external applications for:

Intermediate Teacher

Temporary , part -time ( 0.8748 FTE )

Effective September 8, 2026, to October 31, 2026 or return of incumbent.

Successful Applicant Must:
  • hold or is eligible for a BC Teaching Certificate;
  • have a university teaching major, or its equivalent, directly related to the teaching position; additional qualification as appropriate for specialist positions;
  • have successful teaching experience at the appropriate school level and teaching subject area(s).
  • have commitment to and capacity for collaboration to meet the needs of all students;
  • have a strong repertoire of assessment and instructional practices and approaches to meet diverse learning needs;
  • have demonstrated effective communication with students, colleagues and parents;
  • have excellent interpersonal skills;
  • have a knowledge of and a willingness to work with current technology.
  • have a commitment and capacity to collaborate with district staff to promote positive mental health and social and emotional wellbeing.
