Job summary

DIALOG in Vancouver is seeking a skilled structural modeller to join our multi-disciplinary team delivering mixed-use and institutional buildings. You will develop high-quality Revit models, collaborate with architects and engineers, and support project documentation through drawings, cost estimates, and approvals.

A Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Architectural Technology and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Architectural Technology is required.
• 5+ years of structural modelling experience on mixed-use, commercial, healthcare, or institutional buildings is preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality Revit models and engineering drawings for timber, steel, masonry, and concrete buildings.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, mechanical and electrical engineers for integrated designs.
• Attend site reviews and inspections, and review contractor work for compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Prepare documents for approvals, cost estimates, tenders, and contracts.
• Provide design support to engineers, architects, and other technologists.
• Coordinate with team to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are met.

$75,000 - $90,000 a year
