EXP, Markham, ON, is seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our team. You will contribute to structural design for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects while coordinating with drafting and BIM teams.

You’ll work with senior engineers to review drawings, visit sites, and ensure compliance with contract documents. P.Eng status or near-eligibility is required; 3–8 years of experience preferred.

Formación

• Degree in Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
• P. Eng Licence is required; however, close to obtaining the license will also be considered.
• Preferably 3 to 8 years’ experience in structural engineering with a focus on structural analysis and design.
• Project Management Experience would be considered an asset.
• Experience with NBCC, CSA standards.
• Field experience on construction sites, conducting general reviews for compliance with drawings and specifications, and writing site reports.
• Experience with Etabs, SAFE, SAP and other similar Structural design software.
• Team player with the proven ability to work independently with minimum direction.
• Hard worker, who is eager and willing to assume responsibility.
• Commitment and dedication to client service as well as technical excellence.
• Demonstrated and effective communication skills and the ability to handle changing needs while working effectively with diverse groups.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to determine what work is required and draw rational conclusions from all available information.
• A valid driver’s license is required, and access to a vehicle.

Your work environment at EXP

EXP is currently looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our Markham office. While there is an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects the primary focus of this position is to assist our design team on structural design for the residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.

What a day at EXP has in store for you
