Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Structural Designer to join our Integrated Design team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects within the Energy and Resource sector, ranging from studies to detailed engineering projects across North America and globally.

This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to challenge their abilities in a dynamic environment, working under the supervision of a Senior Designer or Engineer, with teams worldwide.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and adhere to Stantec’s Safety Culture and all health and safety regulations.
  • Perform modeling, drafting, and structural design tasks for various projects.
  • Complete project deliverables within budget and schedule.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams to produce quality design deliverables with appropriate detail.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • At least 8 years of experience in industrial consulting or industrial environments.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills, especially in remote settings.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Solid understanding of structural design concepts.
  • Interest in leading projects and mentoring team members.
Education and Experience
  • Technical or college course in Design/Drafting or equivalent experience.
  • 8 to 15 years in engineering consulting or construction industries.
