Join Our Team as an Intermediate–Senior Architectural Technologist

Tengri Architecture, a Kelowna-based firm known for delivering innovative and community-focused designs, is looking to expand our team with the addition of an Intermediate–Senior Architectural Technologist. What You’ll Do

As a Senior Technologist, you will play a key role in the success of our projects across all phases — from preliminary design through to construction completion.

• Technical Leadership & Revit Proficiency: Produce, coordinate, and review detailed architectural drawings using Revit, from schematic design to construction documents and as-builts.
• Construction Administration: Lead tasks during the construction phase, including shop drawing reviews, field reports, and RFI responses.
• Project Execution: Collaborate closely with Project Architects and Designers to translate design concepts into technically sound solutions.
• Office & Coordination Support: Assist with internal task management, consultant coordination, drawing reviews, and quality control across multiple active projects.

What We’re Looking For

• A diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in architectural practice in British Columbia or a similar jurisdiction.
• Minimum 5 years of Canadian experience is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in wood-frame construction is required.
• Expert-level proficiency in Revit is essential. Experience with AutoCAD and other BIM coordination tools is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of the BC Building Code, municipal permitting processes, and building systems.
• Experience with multi-unit residential, institutional, or supportive housing projects is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks during the construction documentation and construction services stages.
• A proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
