Job summary

Best Buy Canada is seeking an intermediate Salesforce developer to enhance customer and associate experiences by building innovative applications. This 12-month fixed-term role follows a remote-first model with in-person collaboration at our Vancouver, BC head office for strategic and social activities.

You will collaborate on system integrations within Salesforce, develop and test in an agile environment, and provide technical direction to peers while applying strong OOP and DevOps practices

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of Salesforce development experience on Service Cloud.
• Strong Apex programming experience or strong background in software development.
• Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and supporting customer service-related applications.
• Experience with LWC or front-end Salesforce development.
• Experience with API-led development and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes as part of the end-to-end application ownership.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and software design principles.
• Production and operational support experience, including troubleshooting and incident management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with business partners and teams.
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, or distributed systems is an asset.
• Java development experience is an asset.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Git, OpenShift, Kubernetes Docker), and deploying Java applications to cloud environments is a bonus.
