Talencity Inc. in Thunder Bay, Ontario, is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer or Designer to join our on-site team.

You will own diverse engineering projects, develop innovative mechanical solutions, and contribute to vital industrial and infrastructure initiatives across Canada. You will manage projects, prepare PFDs and P&IDs, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and support field engineering from conception to commissioning.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and licensure pathway (P.Eng or EIT)
• 4+ years of relevant mechanical/industrial design experience
• Willingness to travel as needed

Aufgaben

• Managing and executing mechanical engineering projects of varying sizes and complexity.
• Developing mechanical design solutions for mining, industrial processes, and facility upgrades.
• Contributing to plant layout development, process optimization, equipment selection, and system integration.
• Designing fluid and slurry pumping systems, piping networks, HVAC, and storage installations.
• Supporting projects through all stages from feasibility to commissioning and field engineering.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Preparing and updating PFDs and P&IDs.
• Ensuring deliverables meet safety, codes and regulatory requirements.
