Job summary

Allison Willson Design in Toronto is seeking an experienced Intermediate Interior Designer to join our growing team, delivering large-scale residential projects from concept to completion.

You will produce detailed drawings with AutoCAD/SketchUp, collaborate with senior designers, liaise with trades and suppliers, and support material sourcing in our Yorkville office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
• Strong understanding of the design process from concept to completion.
• Professional communication with trades, vendors, and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce detailed drawings, plans, and elevations using AutoCAD and/or SketchUp.

• Communicate with trades, vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design and quality standards.

The Role

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in interior design or related field.
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design
• Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with other software such as SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is an asset.
• Strong understanding of the design process from concept through to completion
• Ability to communicate professionally with trades, vendors, suppliers, and consultants
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Ability to collaborate daily in person at our Yorkville, Toronto office.
• A valid drivers license and reliable access to a vehicle
