Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: North York, ON

Working arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days per week in office

Akkodis is partnered with a leading enterprise SaaS company who provide an all-in-one activity fund management solution for schools. Due to continued growth, the company is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their team here in Toronto (North York, ON).

In this role, you will be responsible for building new features, updating existing ones and supporting bug fixes and performance issues for the cash management and/or payments suite, which is used by thousands of schools and over a million parents and guardians across North America.

Responsibilities:

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using software development best practices

• Collaborate with other developers, UX designers, and product owners to ensure the bestoutcomes and experience for our customers and our users

• Create user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases

• Work on bug fixes and resolve production issues

• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on business and technical needs

• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into our product and processes as appropriate

• Work with designers to match visual design intent

Requirements & Skills:

• 3-5 years backend experience with C# and ASP.NET

• Frontend experience with React; HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks

• Experience developing and using REST APIs

• Experience interfacing with relational databases using SQL

• Experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment

• Experience with Azure

• Writing robust and testable code

• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process

• Understanding of Atlassian products such as: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.

• Creative problem-solving skills

• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques

• Experience with secure coding practices and performance diagnosis and optimizations preferred
