Job summary

FLINT is seeking an Intermediate Environmental Professional in Alberta to design work plans for contaminated sites, coordinate subcontractors, manage field projects and report on site characterization and remediation. The role requires 5+ years of consulting experience in Alberta/Saskatchewan Oil and Gas and a diploma or degree in environmental science or a related field, with travel to field sites.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in environmental science/engineering or a related field, with a valid Class 5 Driver's License and eligibility for professional designation.
  • Strong knowledge of Alberta and Saskatchewan environmental regulations, with proven field skills in soil characterization, groundwater monitoring, and sampling with proven skills in assessment and reclamation.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and collaborate across organizations.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments while prioritizing and adapting to changing work demands.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, proactive initiative, and a demonstrated capacity to build relationships and work effectively within diverse teams.

This role involves travel for field-based projects.
