Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Ontario is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the Property & Buildings team. You will design and deliver electrical systems for diverse building projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

You will develop calculations, drawings and docs, ensure compliance with codes, and contribute to innovative, sustainable solutions that meet client needs and project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with active or eligible professional engineering registration.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally in engineering consulting or buildings.
• Registration or eligibility with the provincial engineering regulator.
• Experience in electrical engineering for building projects and related disciplines.
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards for buildings.
• Experience creating electrical designs, calculations, drawings, specs, and technical docs.
• Proficiency with electrical design software and engineering tools.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on electrical design requirements.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the engineering consulting or buildings industry.
• Professional engineering registration or eligibility for registration with the applicable provincial engineering regulator.
• Relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the engineering consulting or buildings industry.
• Practical knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards applicable to building projects.
• Experience preparing electrical designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with relevant electrical design software and engineering tools.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating electrical design requirements with other disciplines.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $85,100 - $112,800

MB & ON: $77,700 - $107,000

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $76,900 - $102,100
