TNT Engineering Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Technology) to lead electrical design for oil and gas projects. You will manage documentation, ensure revision control, and coordinate cross-discipline drawing packages to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

The role requires 6+ years in electrical and instrumentation design, with strong knowledge of codes and the ability to supervise junior drafters. Calgary-based, on-site position with solid English skills.

Qualifications

• Electrical design experience for oil & gas projects is required.
• Proficient with documentation control and revision management.
• Excellent English reading and writing skills are essential.
• Familiarity with industry codes is expected.

Description du poste

• Lead electrical design for small to medium sized oil and gas projects for electrical, controls and instrumentation drawings.
• Maintain an organized filing system within each project, ensuring accurate documentation and revision control.
• Manage the requirements of multiple projects simultaneously including time management and deliverable prioritization.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to develop designs and complete electrical drawing packages within project scope, schedule and budget.
• Check drawings to ensure they are complete and compliant with standards and specifications.
• Make revisions and improvements to designs/drawings in accordance with changing project demands while ensuring changes are carried out across an entire design.

Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years’ experience in electrical & instrumentation design (oil& gas experience required)
• Familiar with CEC, NFPA, API codes.
• Experience with instructing/supervising junior drafters.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• 3D modelling skills would be considered an asset.
• Excellent English language reading and writing skills.
