Job summary

TNT Engineering Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Technology) to lead electrical design for oil and gas projects. You will manage documentation, ensure revision control, and coordinate cross-discipline drawing packages to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

The role requires 6+ years in electrical and instrumentation design, with strong knowledge of codes and the ability to supervise junior drafters. Calgary-based, on-site position with solid English skills.

Qualifications

• Electrical design experience for oil & gas projects is required.
• Proficient with documentation control and revision management.
• Excellent English reading and writing skills are essential.
• Familiarity with industry codes is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for small to medium oil & gas projects including electrical, controls and instrumentation drawings.
• Maintain organized project filing and strict revision control.
• Manage multiple projects with effective time management and prioritization.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to develop complete electrical drawing packages.
• Check drawings for completeness and compliance with standards.
• Incorporate changes across the design as project demands evolve.
