Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Designer in Mississauga, ON to support nuclear projects. You will prepare electronic documents in AutoCAD, Revit and MicroStation, perform 3D modeling, and ensure QA-compliant deliverables across lifecycle stages.

You will work within a team, coordinate with engineers, and apply CSA/IEEE standards as applicable. The role supports a hybrid work model and offers extensive training opportunities.

Qualifications

• College diploma or equivalent with 5+ years in electrical design/drafting
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation or similar tools
• Awareness of IEEE/CSA/ASME standards is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare electronic documents in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation; sketching and 3D modeling
• Follow client file management systems for document storage
• Prepare design deliverables for nuclear and conventional systems per QA programs
• Apply relevant codes and standards and coordinate with the design team
