Job summary

A leading environmental consulting firm based in Canada is seeking an experienced Intermediate Civil Engineer for its Grande Prairie office. The successful candidate will oversee and manage municipal engineering projects, perform design and site inspections, and coordinate with stakeholders. Applicants should possess a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in municipal engineering, including hands-on construction observation. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal engineering.
• Hands-on experience in construction observation and contract administration is preferred.
• Working knowledge of water and wastewater distribution systems.
• Proficiency in modeling and spreadsheet analysis software

• Strong understanding of general construction methods

Our MPE Grande Prairie office is seeking an experienced Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our Municipal Infrastructure team.

Your main responsibilities

• Oversee and manage municipal engineering projects from inception through completion
• Perform design, construction site inspections, and contract administration duties
• Develop and review engineering design drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
• Coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines
• Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers and technologists
• Apply and promote health and safety rules and comply with Englobe's quality procedures.
