Job summary

New Value Solutions is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst to support governance, analytics, and process improvement in a complex technology environment. The analyst will gather requirements, analyze processes, and develop governance frameworks while delivering actionable management reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in IT or business analysis, advanced Excel skills (Power Query/Power Pivot), and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in IT, business operations, financial analysis, business management, or business analysis.
Proven skills in eliciting, analyzing, validating, and documenting requirements.
Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and business rules.
Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
Experience creating executive-level presentations, summaries, reports, and briefing materials.

Responsibilities

Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
Develop recommendations to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
Develop process maps, workflows, business rules, and operating frameworks.
Facilitate process analysis discussions and identify workflow improvements.
Develop and maintain governance frameworks, standards, policies, and supporting practices.
Monitor compliance with governance requirements.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources for management decisions.
Develop reports, summaries, and executive briefing materials.
Prepare and present findings, analyses, and recommendations to staff and management.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirements sessions, and process reviews.
Support change management communications and adoption activities.
Work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives with minimal supervision.
